Study an ILM L7 Leadership and Management Qualification, with the potential to access an MBA "top up" with a UK University!

MAP Knowledge Limited delivers ILM Level 7 vocational qualifications from Awards right through to the Strategic Leadership and Executive Management Diploma - which can access an MBA "top up" programme offered by the University of Gloucestershire to successful candidates

How will this work?

MK Ltd delivers ILM L7 Leadership and Management Qualification units so that candidates can gain an Award (12 credits) a Certificate (30 credits) or go on to one of the Diploma(s) (from 60, 90 or up to 110 credits- the MBA access level)

If candidates successfully study units accruing 110 credits required in the Strategic Leadership and Executive Management Diploma, they can apply for access to the University of Gloucestershire's MBA – ILM APL programme. Once accepted on the MBA by UoG, candidates need to study for an Accountancy module (10 credits) and the Dissertation (a further 60 credits).

This brings the 180 credits required to achieve the MBA!

What will the programme look like?

The ILM Level 7 Diploma is delivered as a blended solution- on-line unit’s access and in a traditional way from MK Ltd at their training room in beautiful Rutland; (some Distance learning can be achieved on some units if required).

Time? To achieve an Award can take 2 months, a Certificate around 6 – 12 months and Diploma(s )(covering a set programme of ILM level 7 units -see published list for details) should take around 18 months to 2 years. These approximated times are dependent on how quickly candidate work is submitted and how they achieve the units outcomes required at this level

If candidates want to go on to the ILM-MBA “top up” then they would apply directly to the University of Gloucestershire who will assess a system of APL (accredited prior learning) recognising the 110 credits banked with ILM and off-setting the credits against the MBA required credits (180). Once accepted, UoG will deliver the last 70 credits required; the accountancy unit and the dissertation.

Who can take on this amazing route to an MBA?

The L7 suite of Leadership & Management qualifications are designed for senior managers, either already in post to accredit them or who are on a succession planning route to the top or maybe a natural progression in a formal education route from degree to masters.

No previous qualifications are required for entry to the ILM level 7 - other than appropriateness of current post or accessibility to that work level experience. A CV will be requested on application and advice given as to the appropriateness of this HE programme

When does it start?? - Anytime!

MK Ltd deliver 19 ILM level 7 units on a continuum which means candidates join anytime. No term times exist- traditional training days are normally delivered once a month throughout the year by an expert trainer (a delivery schedule is available on request) and the on-line access is for candidates own convenience once registered
