MAP Knowledge limited is delivering an ILM Level 7 Strategic Leadership and Executive Management Diploma which can lead onto an MBA “top up” programme offered by the University of Gloucestershire
How will this work?
MK Ltd will deliver the ILM level 7 Diploma to a set programme covering the 110 credits required, and then you can apply for access to the University of Gloucestershire’s MBA programme. Once accepted on the MBA, you need to study for an Accountancy module (10 credits) and the Dissertation (a further 60 credits).
This brings the 180 credits required to achieve the MBA!
What will the programme look like?
The ILM Level 7 Diploma will be delivered in a traditional way from MK ltd at their Training room in beautiful Rutland; some Distance learning can be achieved on some units if required.
You have to achieve 110 credits covering a set programme of ILM level 7 units (see published list for details) that should take you around 18 months to 2 years, depending on how quickly you submit and achieve the units work outcomes required at that level
If you want to go on to the MBA “top up” then you apply directly to the University of Gloucestershire who will assess you and then use a system of APL (accredited prior learning) recognising the 110 credits you have banked and off-setting that against the MBA required credits (180). Once you are accepted, the University will deliver the last 70 credits required; the accountancy unit and the dissertation. Total tutor support is offered on both.
Who can take on this amazing route to an MBA?
The Level 7 Diploma can be a natural follow on from the Award or Certificate at level 7 (APA credits)/ progression for your formal education progressing from a degree level.
Or, if you work at a senior management level, or are on a succession plan, then you can!??…no previous qualification is required for entry to the ILM level 7 (other than appropriateness of your work experience) and by the time you get to be considered for the MBA by the UoG you will be at the academic level required!
When does it start?
Now, next week or the week after, or next month!!….we deliver ILM level 7 units on a continuum which means you can join anytime. No term times here! Training days are normally delivered every two weeks throughout the year by an expert trainer (delivery schedule is available on request)

**Cost breakdown: Mk LtdILM Level 7 SL & EM Diploma (120 credits220 GLH)
*£ 115.00 per training day (approx 38 days (220 GLH) inclusive of all Training materials, expert trainer, handouts, venue, free parking, refreshments, work submissions marking and feedback)
*£ 40.00 per coaching hour x 15 Minimum (taken as convenient for you)
£ 250.00 ILM Reg/ Cert (a one off fee‐ may be variable by ILM each year, VAT exempt and includes admin charge)
If you attend every unit then the total cost would be in the region of *£5220.00 (*Costs are all quoted as Ex VAT) this may vary if using blended e learning options.
